Aquarium Advice Apprentice
Last week, I invested in three new balloon belly mollies, one otocinclus, and two banana plants. And probably a couple days after, there was a small outbreak of ich in the tank. But, it's very mild, that it's literally one dot on one of my tetras. In any case, I tested the water, did a 25% water change, salted the aquarium, increased the temp, and added ich meds by API.
pH 7.6
ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 20
And they haven't changed after the water change and when I retested it.
In any case, one of the new mollies has been flashing, but this morning I found her at the bottom of the tank struggling to swim. And when she did swim, she would bump into things in the aquarium. Basically, like she was drunk. I haven't see this before. I'm currently at work, and I suspect she won't make it by the time I get by the look of things. But this particular molly doesn't have any other signs of external signs of ich. I don't know what else could it be...any ideas, anyone?
