Dwarf blue gourmi

I got a blue gourmi on friday to add in ram tank. I acclimated it for 45mins before adding to my tank. All he seems to do when the lights are on is swim up and down in the same corner of the tank. If I add food he will eat and then back to up and down in the corner. Why is he doing this?

I have one dwarf gourami in my ram tank also at first he did the same thing. It took him a few days to get comfortable in the tank not he swims around quit a bit but tends to keep to him self
