I purchase my 2 BN plecos at the same time about 3 months ago. The one has grown nicely and is around 2.5 inches now. The other one though is a different story. It has stayed the same size since I have gotten it. It is not sick, eats actively and can be seen sucking in everything. It is in a 55 gallon tank in a community. Is it possible it just is a dwarf? Or maybe internal parasites?
