My balloon bellied mollie has been acting very lathargic lately. He's been laying on the rocks and acting really weird. He now has developed a small bubble over one of his eyes. I don't know whats going on. Help.

That's one of the best links out there
I have a few questions though:
~What are your tank parameters (ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, temp)?
~ How large is the tank?
~How many fish are in the tank? What kinds of fish are they and what are there current sizes?
~When is the last time you did a water change and vacuum the gravel? How often do you do this? How much water do you remove at a time?
~How long have you had the fish?
~Have you added anything new to the tank--decor, new dechlor, new substrate, etc.?
~How long has the tank been set up?
~Have you noticed any other fish picking on the Balloon Molly?

Tank parameters are fine. Temp is about 72 in a ten gallon tank. I have two mollies and 4 tetras, the largest fish is probably 2 inches including fins. i did a half water change last weekend and usually do 25% water changes every weekend. I have had the tank since January. Nothing new. I havent noticed any harrassment. However, for a long time before my mollie developed his problem he was hitting on my other mollie trying to sow his wild oats. I think she refused.

If it is popeye caused by aggression from another fish, the cure is isolation. If a bacterial infection follows, isolate and treat with kanamyacin.
