I have a pair of F8 puffers and one of them has a pectoral fin with a large tan/pinkish fuzzy glob attached. After a little research, it appears to be fungus or possibly fin rot. I have dosed the tank with Melafix for the past two days and today I added some aquarium salt gradually. Is there anything else I can do? He's swimming okay and buzzing around the tank like usual, but his fin is mostly clamped to his side. Please help, thanks.

Melafix and salt will have no effect on fungus.
You should really read up and find something that kills fungus. i could list a few
Methylene Blue
Furan-2
Malachite Green

Okay I will look into those, thanks. Apparently I looked in the wrong place when it was suggested to use Melafix and salt.

Melafix is for bacterial, and Pimafix is for fungal, but I don't know how well it works. I would go with what Matt said for best results.
