Hi guys,

I am concerned about my betta fish as I think he may have fin rot. I think his fins have shrunk since I got him but it's hard to tell.

He only eats frozen/fresh blood worm and will not touch flakes or pellets.

Is there any signs that I should be looking out for?

Thanks!!

It's a 10 gallon and he is in there on his own. I change 25% of the water every week so the parameters are fine.

I'll get some meds for fin rot just in case

Clean water does a lot for fin rot. I would up the pwc to 50% weekly and see if it helps any.
If you do meds, then I suggest starting with betta fix. If you use something else, you may need to dilute it a bit. Meds can damage a betta's labyrinth organ. :)
Bacterial fin rot is usually characterized by white edges on the fins.
