Fin rot or nipped or?

Honestly donít remember seeing this guys tail missing when I first got the batch, but on the second day I noticed heís got nothin!

Heís in with a bunch of other comets awaiting paradise in the pond, which Iíve noticed some others have appeared to been nipped once or twice. Not sure if this guy just got attacked or what?

Iím assuming thatís going to be permanent...

All similarly sized comets and a pair of plecos again about the same size
