My oscar has white crud on one of her fins. Maybe ich? I didn't realize ich was this big. Fungus? Diagnosis? Treatment?

Thanks for any advice you can provide. If at all possible I want avoid using medications.

Not sure but for ich and many diseases crank the heat up in your tank and do pwc frequently

She has 2-3 sesame seed sized white dots on her left pectoral fin. All other spots are from toddler residue on the glass. I am slowly upping the temp and adding salt. How high should I go with the heat? I'm up to 82 from my normal 78.

I wouldn't raise the temp until you get a solid diagnosis. If it's something like columnaris, raising the temp will only make things worse.

A spritz of windex on a paper towel away from the aquarium will do wonders on making your glass clean.... maybe you can get a better pic.
