Flashy Rainbows

I bought two Boseman Rainbows from the store today. The Rainbows, which I think are both males, from there brightly coloured tails, seem to be flashing and extending their fishs at each other while circling. I'd think it was courting except these are probably two males so I'm sure they're not doing that. Whould it be that one of them is trying to establish dominence?

brendan...yes this is their way of saying...look how big and beautiful I am! Now leave my area! This behavior is harmless unless they start to fight and inflict physical damage upon each other.
