My heart is breaking! My favorite baby angelfish "suede"(a spunky marble who was carefree and swam around 2 days ago like a little tornado) stopped eating yesterday. Today, he stopped swimming. He moved his fins, but kinda floats around with the bubbles. I put him in hospital tank. The others in my 20 gallon tank (with 0 ammonia and nitrites, and under 5 nitrates, ph under 8) are fine. Frankly, I don't see anything wrong or different with suede....except he won't eat or swim.... I am desperate for suggestions. He was picked at by the other fish for the past 2 days he was injured, so his tail and on side fin are nipped. But it's obvious something went wrong first. Please.....if you have ANY ideas, I want them. I put maracyn 2 in the tank and stress coat. Photos attached. Posting a video in member photos called "what's wrong with my angelfish? Please help!!!!
