Has he perked up at all?
I forgot to ask before, is your HT cycled? If not you will have to do 25-50% PWC daily and redoes the meds.

I'm very sorry to hear that!

I would completely sterilize everything he has come into contact with tanks, buckets, nets, syphons, etc just to be on the safe side.

Bleach:water solution 1:19, potassium permanganate, boil your choice. Since you don't know what he died of I'd tear down the entire tank, clean and cycle before new fish.
