Hello,

I have just added 6 ottos and 2 siamese algae eaters to my tank. I know a lot at once but I was reassured by a couple of people in 2 different shops it would be fine, due to not having only 2 German Blue Rams in the tank.

I added the ottos and siamese algae eaters earlier this afternoon, by acclimatising them in the bags for nearly an hour, also adding in some tank water during acclimatisation.

All was well for about an hour or 2 and then one of my rams was swimming around the bottom of the tank and then stopped in one corner.

Is this due to stress because the 2 rams have had the tank to themselves and then adding in fish has upset her?

Water Parameters:
pH: 7.2
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 0.5
GH: 5
kH: 4
Temp: 27.5 celsius

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Put an airstone in or lift the filter outlet out of the water to create a splash and see if he comes round.
