Ghost shrimp different colors

So though no shrimp lover likes to see it I sadly found 3 dead ghost shrimp in my 10 gal aquarium. I made a Purchase the previous day but they didn't all make it. So when I took them out it made me wonder why are some bright orange and white and some grey white? They were purchased at the same time from the same tank and looked the same alive... Any thoughts or am I alone in seeing this? Sorry no pics

When shrimp die they basically 'cook' so they tend to turn white in a short time period.

Sorry to hear about your ghost shrimp Yes, back when I had ghost shrimp they would turn almost orange after they died.
