Goldfish Wen

Hello. I have an oranda goldfish. I just got Phelps on July 4. For a week now he has started to turn yellow after switching to a color enhancing fish flakes. I'm not certain if he is yellow from it but it seems to spread through his tails. Next issue I just noticed is a small pimple like growth on the red we . What is phelps experiencing? Is it treatable at home or is it bad enough to see a vet?

Looks fine. Don't worry hes a big boy, the yellow is just natural color, and the tiny bit of spots on his head may just be because he is in mating season, if not it will probably go away on its on, just do lots of vacuming and Water changing. He'll be ok.

Hi there,
Phelps might just be experiencing some wen growth - possible cause of the spot.
Not sure about the yellow, though - perhaps just due to the food?
