Goldfish with black spots

Hello.. I'm new here and..
I'm not sure why my fish has black spots on him.. I've read it is a sign of healing skin.. I did have a bout with ammonia recently, which I am fixing.. I hope the black is a sign of healing.. Black spot is rare..

That definitely looks like ammonia burn. There’s not a whole lot you can do but keep up on the water changes and make sure the ammonia levels are low or non existent and give it time.
