Is it alright to keep a gourami in a 10 gallon? He/she would be with 4 pygmy cats (1"max), a couple of tiny shrimp, and 4 endlers. They won't eat the shrimp will they?

one gourami in a 10 should be fine, although a dwarf species is prefferable. Some gouramis will eat the shrimp, so make sure you have lots of plants (live or fake) and other hiding spots for the shrimp.
