Green terror died unexpectedly

I had a green terror for less than a week and last night he stayed in one place on the bottom of the tank. I woke up this morning and he had died. No signs of any disease. PH level was good. Water temp was 76/78 degrees. Tank size is 34 gallons. I have 9 other fish in the tank. Any ideas?
