Sure, they were given to me so i am not too sure, multiplied like crazy tho and they kind of glow.under the blue lights

Well, my other guess would be ghost shrimp or glass shrimp of some sort. Either way, they should be ok with the amount of salt suggested in the article that jlk linked. If salt is what you want to try, I suggest following the instructions in that article.

Ya so not brine shrimp, maybe glass shrimp. Not as clear looking as a ghost shrimp

We have gotten off topic a bit. I agree it looks like columnaris. There are several medications out there that you can use at half doses. Also with all parameters at 0 it would seem as though the tank may not be cycled completely.

If you want to choose a non medication treatment, try changing the water 50% every 2 days and add some aquarium salt. Be careful if there are shrimp in there with the salt.

As mentioned it is best if you are able to quarantine the fish for treatment.

Saltwater tanks use marine salt. Its quite a bit different than plain aq salt which is just sodium chloride.

No, generally inverts do not care for salt - that is why many people use salt to try to kill off pest snails.
