guppy problems

my guppy is getting fatter and fatter, it is a male so no babies in the stomach, I had one before that happen the same thing and a few days found him dead with his bottom split open. can this be caused from fertz? I ask the same question but it seems like this happens every time i dose for the reason that they see me and come up to the area thinking its food. if its not because of dosing can it be parasites?

Have you seen the guppy go to the bathroom lately?

What are the params? Any signs of illness?
