I have had this guppy for about 4 months. There's 2 males 1 female. It's been like this for some time. Every time I add females they tend to die.
These 3 get along fine no aggression or abuse between them. Lately one of my males has lost all his color. He used to be beautiful and bright and now he is dull. His tail is really bad also and none of the other fish have anything to do with it because they act if he's not there. The 2 male guppys mind thier own business and don't really bugg each other also.
Any one know what it could be?

Tank 30 gallons
Temp 80-82 f
Filter marine land penguin 150
WC 40-50% weekly
Companions: angel fish, kuhlis, dwarf gourami, Bolivian rams
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate .5

I think that the 2 male guppies have been fighting over the 1 female. This would explain both the dull colours and bad tail. I would get another 3 female guppies if possible. This should stop the males fighting and bring back his colours. I know you said you don't think they are fighting but I can't think of much else that would explain the colour loss and tail. Hope this helps.
