Hi forum.
Quite new to keeping tropical fish
Just wanted to ask a couple of questions.
I have 2 silver sharks In our 100ltr tank and we have noticed 1 of them has an inflamed/red anus and it looks quite distressed. Any ideas what this could be?
Also I have planted several plants in the tank and they don't seem to grow as fast as I expected. Tank has been set up for around 6 weeks.
Ammonia 0.25
Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Paul

Tank is cycling..ammonia is bad..make water less toxic with prime or similar product and perform daily wcs to keep ammonia below .25. Read up on cycling process

As Brook stated you need to keep on top of water changes when your tank isn't cycled. An inflamed red anus is a good sign of worms. You might try dosing Prazipro.
