I have a honey gourami that I got a month ago in my tank with 5 Pygmy Corys and a few red cherry shrimps. The catfish are doing amazing and my shrimp seem great too despite the never ending game of hide and seek they are playing. My dwarf honey gourami, however, has barely been eating anything since I got him...

He will go over to the food and take a bite then immediately spit it out and then swim away while it sinks to the bottom for my catfish. I know he eats some of the algae in the tank and he will occasionally eat the sinking shrimp pellets that I feed my corys but nothing else.

I’ve tried flake food, bug bites, and even bloodworms and he has no interest in any of it. Only thing he will sometimes pick on is the algae and the shrimp pellets.

What should I try to get him to eat?
