Help please emergency

My brother in laws fish are suffering from ich. He is doing the heat treatment without salt as he has shrimp in the tank. The bala sharks have developed cloudy eyes. I have told him to test his parameters and get back to me. Is there anything else he can do for the cloudy eye that will not affect the shrimp?

Couple of good remedies here. Hope everything works out.

OK I think we are going to try some melafix, it will not harm the shrimp and is supposed to help ease the cloudy eye. Any further ideas will gratefully be accepted.

also, make sure he cleans the tank more often because higher temps make ammonia more toxic to fish.

Thanks guys, luckily his parameters are ammonia 0ppm, nitrite 0ppm, nitrates 10ppm. I've been on him to do water changes, and I am such a nag no one can stand to listen to me so to shut me up they do it LOL.
