HELP! Sick Neon Tetra!

One of my Neons has been hanging near the top and looks really lethargic. It's color is really dull and it's fins are clamped. What do I do? I am putting him in QT now. all I have on hand is aquarium salt and Melefix. Will Melefix help?





None of my other tetra are acting sick. Please help!

I guess I'll just try the Melefix and see if it helps then...

Probably neon tetra disease. Don't let it spread.

I suspected as munch. The sick Tetra is in an extra tank I had lying around. I put some water from my tanks in it and put am extra filter in it to keep it aerated (cartridge removed of course). Unfortunately, the filter's current was a bit too strong for the weak little tetra so he's inside a net that I have dangling in there. I'm dosing with Melefix because it's the only thing I have on hand. Poor thing, I hope he pulls through. I checked on my other tetras and none of them look sick so hopefully I caught it in time.

Well, my poor little neon didn't make it. At least none of the others are sick so hopefully I caught it before it spread.
