Help - white patches on Betta
We just recently noticed these white patches on my betta? Is this ich?

Definitely not ich. Ich looks like individual grains of salt on the fish. This looks more like columnaris to me.

If you have any other fish in the tank, then quarantine the betta to hopefully prevent contaminating the other fish.

Water parameters?

Definitely not Ick which looks like salt crystals on the skin and fins as Aiken stated. Definitely a bacterial infection of which columnaris ( see pic: https://fishlab.com/wp-content/uploa...-on-scales.jpg ) is one of them. Water PH and hardness will help determine the best course of medications to use.
