help with the fat pleco...

ok, so I started treating my pleco 5 days ago with pimafix.. and its still fat, fatter than ever actually... is there something besides pimafix that would help with it?

perhaps I missed a previous thread about this? Why are you treating with pimafix?
Have you been feeding him the same throughout the medication?

Perhaps your pleco is bloated. Have you tried fasting and then feeding a blanched pea and fasting for another day? For more info on veggies and fish, see the articles section.

if you feed twice a day cut it to once...I to had a fat pleco seems mom was giving him super size portions

well the pleco had an internal parasite... it would not eat foods at all..

sadly, it died this morning
