How long would ich last in a tank with only invertebrates?

MY QT tank has two shrimp and three snails in it and I was wondering that IF the tank had ich or some sort of fungus, how long would it last if it had no fish to live off?

Can fungus live off inverts? I doubt ich can, but I figure I'd just double check with you guys.

BTW, I'm pretty sure I have some sort of fungus in my 30 gal tank and I'm treating it with Super Sulfa capsules. I'll let you all know how effective the medicine is by next week.
