I checked in ony my pregnant female swordtail who is currently isolated in a breeding net at the side of the tank. she seemed fine then i noticed a little white ring of white fleshy material formed just where her body turns into the tail fin.. Im not sure if she can nip herself that far back.. flexible.. but when i seperated her before she was nipping her own fin. If that is the case what can i do to stop her. Would my emerald catfish or my african dwarf frog eat her fry? All my other fishes would eat her fry for sure.
