Ich ?!?

Bought a Red fire gourami on Monday for my new 16 g but I left him in my old 8 g just till today then I was gonna add him and this morning I noticed some small white spots I think it's ich he is alone in there but what must I do

Can you add a pic so we can see? Is it like salt grains??

Don't cross contaminate anything. Keep all nets, buckets, etc separate if they have come into contact with the gourami and his tank. You don't want to infect your other fish.
Does it look like white grains of salt?

I will but the spots are very small hard for me to see

Turn the temp slowly up to 86-88F and increase aeration.
