Ick treatment help

Two weeks ago I bought new fish. I now have 4 cichlids, 3 bala sharks, 3 silver dollars a plecostamus and a catfish. Today I noticed white spots and eratic swimming. Went to petsmart and was recommended mardel Coppersafe. I added it to the tank and now I am reading that heat and salt work best. Can I still use heat and salt or should I wait to see what happens?

I would do a water change and add fresh carbon to the filter and then increase the heat. Do not use salt with your pleco and catfish. Welcome to AA!

Thank you for the advice and the welcome! I hope everybody doesnt die in the tank. Lost one this morning and the others dont look so good.

Lost two bala sharks and the cat fish a silverdollar. Hopefully we will have some left after this
