is he dead?

my black moore fish has turned white and is floating on his side.
he isnt moving his mouth. wont eat food i out in.
we moved him from the original bowl where he lives with two other fantail fish, into a separate temporary box with fresh water.

is he dead? or not?
weve had him since october. hes always been a bit weird but never like this. hes meant to be black. and he doesnt usually float on his side like this???

How is your goldfish getting on? Any gill movement?

If there is any life, I'd try a water change (temp matched) and also check water chemistry.

If his gills aren't moving then he is most likely dead. Also, being completely white normally isn't a good sign either.

Most likely dead. You may want to do some research on tank size for goldfish and on proper aquarium care... It will help you avoid losing any more fish in the future
