Fish can be shy for the camera, sometimes if you sit there in front of them with the camera and keep clicking eventually ou will get one that shows enough.

Did you have her in a tank with a male Betta? My understanding is that it can be difficult to get them to breed unless the conditions are exactly correct. My females can look pregnant just because they don't know when to quit eating. LOL.
