Is my fish okay

I got two tiger barbs yesterday from a local pet store and at first they were both fine but I think I got one female and one male just from what I have read online and is the fish is hanging underneath the filter because I keep my heater and filter close (keep all the ugly stuff in one place) and the other tiger barb keeps checking on this fish I just want to know if the fish is sick or possibly pregnant!!

Captain Jack, the male tiger barb will have an orange or red snout. It's a good idea to buy several tiger barbs at the same time. That spreads their aggression amongst themselves. If you just stock two, the strongest barb will pick on the weaker one. It's likely that the weaker barb is the one hiding. Hope this helps.
