I have had a snail for about a year and a half. Well lately during this cycle, it has been going above water. Now I think it lost an antenna as I saw a body part that looked like one on my plants. Now it is tucked in its shell just laying on the gravel. Does this mean it is dying? I have never had a snail die before. So I don't know. Thanks. I can send a picture if you need.
