It's worse now - she's barely moving

The fire parrot was found sitting on her side on the bottom - I touched her tail with my net and she moved and now seems "awake"

Was it possible she was sleeping? I'm REALLY concerned and want to cry

I'm really sorry to say this, but I've never seen mine on the bottom, in any position. She's always out swimming around I read in your other thread that she's still not eating? If there's a fish/pet store near you, maybe try some live or frozen food to coax her to eat? I don't really know what it could be... I'm sorry.

fish do sleep in one form or another>did you turn on the lights in a dark room right before finding it on it's side? does it immediately lay back down on the bottom and stop swimming?
