Khongo river puffer rehab

Hey guys. So my lfs had a khongo river puffer in their brackish display with monos. Scats anableps and mudskippers. But anyways this little guy was getting beat up on and never got to eat. So I tool him home to save the little guy.

I only have brackish tanks and he went in a 75 he is about 3 1/2"

His fins are beat up and torn and he just needs some love. What should I do to help his fins and other marks. There isn't any serious injuries.

I never heard of a "khongo river" puffer. Can you provide pics?

And I didnt think it was a Congo river puffer. But that's what the lfs said. But he is actually a red eye puffer and ya I'll try and get a good picture for you

Yeah, that would be a good thing to make sure of. Congos are generally a reddish-brown.

Exactly he isn't reddish brown. And ya I know he is freshwater
