Yesterday I did my weekly water change. I did do a rather deep clean and in doing so I think things spiked within the water. My favorite fish, a black balloon belly molly was found this morning stuck to the filter. I'm kind of upset, he's been my first casualty since starting up my tanks. He was fine yesterday even after the clean, he gobbled up food with the rest of the fish :/ he was really small, he seemed to never grow and I don't know what happened. There's no ammonia or nitrites in the water, nitrates did rise though. Could this have killed him? It's a 30 gal tank with several platys, 4 adults 3 juvenile and 5 fry. They all seem to be fine. Does anyone have any insight as to why he could have just up and died like that?
