Ok I just noticed on my Irridescent Shark is missing his left pectoral fin, he seems to swim fine w/o it and it doesnt appear infected. My question is will he be ok with out it? He probably lost it during one of his freak out where he swims from one end to the other hitting everything in his path as they do.

well theres only a stub left, looks like its been like it for a while. He use to hide alot in a rock so thats where I think he probably lost it. Still eats and swims normally though

Hm...it may grow back but it's unlikely but as long as it doesn't get infected or effects his swimming I don't see a problem :)

Me either. ;) Sometimes fish lose areas like this and adapt to living without them. As long as you keep your tank healthy, I don't forsee any issues.

Best of luck.
