An I put regular salt in my aquarium to treat this? Do I just put one teaspoon per gallon?

No, you have to use aquarium salt if you add salt to your tank. You buy it from you LFS. Normal salt can have additives. I'm not sure of the quality but it's less than one teaspoon per gallon that seems like way too much.

Can you post a picture? What are your parameters? What size tank? What other fish do you have?

Normal salt is a no-no. Usually has iodide or something of the sort in it which will usually damage fish pretty badly. You should add aquarium salt if you plan on treating it.

Also, I would like to some answers to the questions mumma posted.
