Aquarium Advice Freak
I fell in love with a black lyretail Molly at my LFS - she was almost fully grown and all by herself. I went ahead and got her and a few friends for her. She was very glum in the store and for the first week or so in my tank. I was fully prepared for an ich outbreak so I wasn't surprised when the first spots appeared. The weird thing was that there were only two spots on the other Molly and none on the third. Then even before I raised the temp the spots on the other fish disappeared. I have raised the temp now and she is looking quite spotty, but absolutely nothing on any of the other fish. Now her fins look clamped. She also had white clearish poop for a few days but it seems to be stopped now.
Is there anything else besides ich going on here?
