My fish gasping for air....

I've got a Fluval edge tank, everytime I do the 20% water change, after afew hours all my fish are at the top gasping for air. One of my neon died... It's ok now, they seem to be happy.. What could have been the cause..??

I have put a pic of my tank coz I love it so much ...

Is your tank cycled? What are your water parameters? Gasping at the surface can be indicative of ammo/no2 poisoning.

What kind of water are you adding, tap, RO (reverse osmosis)?

When you do a pwc is the water the same temp as the tank? Maybe its too warm? Although I made that mistake years ago with my goldfish, (before my hands learned to be thermometers, and also because l live in FL and the water that comes out of the cold water tap is warm) but IIRC my goldies sort of hung out on the bottom, not the top. Hhmmmmm....
