Hello,
my 40gal cycled 1.5 or 2 months ago. I had 8 male guppies(male only tank).
I test water every other day.
0 ammonia
0 nitrite
5 or so nitrate.
I have some live plants
I change water every other week.
for last 3 weeks, 1 guppy die every week. tail seem to get finrot, then it stop eating, die next day. Other guppies seem happy.
any idea what is the problem?

they can't live without female? :)

They can indeed live without females. :)

Do their tummies look a little concave /hollow?

Could be parasites.

Seen any of their poop, what does it look like?

Hi Autumnsky,
the ones died, tummies looked normal. didn't pay attention to the poop.

the ones that died (one at a time) ..... he was swimming on surface for a day and didn't eat. Next day i saw chunk of tail gone. I moved him to small tank .... next day he gone.

I am worry that could it be fish TB?

Fish TB usually has the hollowed tummy as well.

Guppies are often found to have parasites. Not sure at this point. Try to see if you see any poop.

Are there any other fish with the male Guppies?

the guppies look skinny. tail look torn a little bit.
I have 6 corydoras. They seem fine.

I had my water tested at a LFS that said it was cycled and 'safe' and I lost ALLLLLL of my guppies. And tried adding 4 and then 3 weeks later, tried 4 more.. still lost them all...
Ended up adding 2 large mystery snails..
And apparently my tank WAS not cycled. And the snails helped a ton. And were (and still are) a great indicator of water conditions!
Once I had the snails for 3 weeks, I tried again with 2 fish
Then 3 weeks later, 2 more. And now here I am almost a year later!!
Honestly snails helped me a ton when I was starting back up....
Best of luck to you!!

Also, I had 2 panda cory cats that I got with the snails and they made it through just fine... all the guppies, did not.... I would give a mystery snail a try if you've ever considered having one!! :) I absolutely looooove watching mine glide across the glass! And they're more active than most of my fish!!
