my neons are gone really pale. The temp is normal 26 degrees. Why. How can I help them?

Tank size? Heater? Reliable thermometer? Had you just turned on lights, they are pale when they fish wake up, but the tamp. Drop sounds like a heater issue or a bad thermometer..

Heater and thermometer are VERY reliable. The temps always about 23-24. They are almost transparent

It's a 15 gal. They are 10 months old now and one is only like 1 week old

I'm not sure why they are pale but, I'm sure you mean 26c right?

No 24.5 cuz my zebra danios hate 26 it's too hot

Check out neon tetra desiese... this could be youe culprit

Neons don't need really warm water either. They will spawn around 21 or 22.
