Need help with tandanous catfish

Hey all i have got a tandanous catfish used to be in my 4ft tank 27 degrees then moved them into a smaller tank outside they where in a pair and where fine for a few weeks then all of a sudden i lost one been a downward spiral from there now this one is struggling brang it back in the shed and doesed with melafix any sugestions here is a pic
