need whitespot treatment that is safe for catfish

well today i noticed that my silver tip shark was acting funny. when i got a better look at him i noticed what appears to be ick. I now have him isolated in a little tank, and im pretty sure he is dying
Ive looked at all of the other fish, they all look healthy and there are no signs of ick on them. I should still treat the whole tank for ick though right? I mean i would like to unless there is some reason that i should not.

Ive never had ick in any of my tanks before, nor do i have much experience with catfish and other fish that are sensitive to medications.
Here is what is in the tank now:
3 Bala Sharks
4 Tiger Barbs
1 Tinfoil Barb
4 Black Skirt Tetras
4 Silver Hatchetfish
5 Red Tetras )($)@($ forgot their real name
2 Clown Loaches
2 Irridescent Sharks/catfish
1 Humbug/Striped Raphael Catfish
1 Common Pleco
1 Pictus Catfish
and half a dozen crabs (which could easily be taken out and put in another tank temporarilly)

Can someone please recommend a brand or specific type of medication that i should use that wont hurt my sensitive fish?
Ive heard of turning up the temperature to 85-86 should i do that?

ACK! JUST TELL ME WHAT TO DO!

I would recommend "Freshwater Maracide" by "Mardel Laboratories, Inc."

Your LFS should carry it . If they dont, ask them what they use.
