Neon tetras not being active

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!

Three neon tetras not a good idea. Should be minimum six or eight.
 
Don't add anything in the tank right now until you can figure it out, if it's columanaris it can possibly wipe out the whole tank.
 
I have always loved neons colorful and beautiful never any luck though. I hope all
is well have you googled same question? I find alot of answers.
 
The white looks to be one of three things;
Columnaris , Neon Tetra Disease or Lymphocystis.
Keep doing salt bath as it may help if it is columnaris.
Watch other fish .If the issue spreads to other fish I would consider removing them.



The only fish I have in there are neon tetras. I do have 1 shrimp and 2 mystery snails though.
 
Okay, here's an update
(I prematurely sent this part so here is the full version)
Edit: The fish with the white spots got spooked one day and somehow got into my filter and died. I found his corpse when I was cleaning java moss out of my filter. But hey, at least the other fish are not sick anymore! [emoji322]
