One-Eyed Tetra

My glo-light tetra has been sick for a while now. It has flakey scales near its head. Today I noticed that one of its eyes was missing; not sure if a fish ate it off or it fell off because of its sickness. Its quite skinny so I don't think it is eating because it can't see the food. Will it be okay and what sickness does it have if any?

Are the scales standing up? I don't understand what you mean buy flaky scales, but if so, it might be dropsy.

I found it dead today (RIP), but no, I looked at the pictures of dropsy and it doesnt have it. It's more like the scales are shedding.
