One of my fish has something growing from its gill

One of my fish has something growing from its gill I have looked elsewhere but found no info to help. I have had him a long time and all his friends are ok even he dose not seam overly bothered but it dose look bad. I have posted pics please help if can. Thanks

It looks like either bacteria, fungus, or a parasite. Sometimes it's caused by gill flukes. What are your water parameters? You could also treat it with meds.
 
It appears to be a tumor growth, possibly lymphocystis. There are no meds that treat this as its viral in nature. Keep the water conditions pristine and feed a nutritious diet while keeping an eye on the growth. An aquatic vet can offer further options if this something you want to consider.
