Oto died...no reason

I've had 5...now 4 Otos in my 40 gallon breeder for about 1 month now and today it died. Is it because of algae? My Otos at all my algae so it's clean. I feed them and cories algae wafers. What else I tried cucumbers it didn't work. So why do you think it died it was the darker one I think that I loves

Otos are sensative little guys. They can up and die for no reason.
