I have 5 white skirt/black skirt tetras. 3 are painted blue and the largest one, we noticed today has large pale spots on both sides of his body. It doesn't look raised with distinct round white spots like ick, looks more like pigment is missing in areas under his scales/skin. We introduced a mystery snail last week because the clown pleco was doing nothing with the algae ( the snail isn't either). Could the snail be the cause of this problem? I started raising the temp like as if it were ick because one of the others looks like it may have ick. Any other suggestions?

Thanks Smudgeboss

Likely the color fading away, IMHO. Is the fish acting fine? Eating fine? They will all lose most of their color eventually. They are dyed fish, not that way naturally.
